Now, you know I've been working hard to develop enthusiasm for baseball and 'football'. But, I also like to keep in touch with sports in the homeland. And while a competition involving sixteen men and two tiny people messing about on a river might usually pass me by, being so far away from home somehow makes the Boat Race...well, makes it exciting. What's more, this venerable competition is one of very few British sporting events to find its way to American television. Thank-you, ESPNU!
OK, so Cambridge lost, this year. But telling Americans that the guy from House once competed almost makes up for that.

That was a couple of weeks back, and the sport of the moment is clearly...Golf. I guess I can point out that two English guys are well in the hunt after two days. Right? Is it crazy to suggest that one of them might win?
UPDATE: yes

I predict that Tiger Woods will generate an energy field around himself, travel back in time, win the Masters and cure cancer.
I believe that he has that power, but we must wait and see if he uses it for good.
