Who da man?

Yes, you guessed the answer. It's this guy!

That picture was taken when Pierre spotted something important during our visit to Waldo lake. It may or may not have been a mosquito, but there were many, many mosquitoes. Here we all are together, looking happy because we found the one spot not infested with them:

Peter and Niru visited Oregon for just over a week, and along the way we did much barbecuing, some wine-tasting, and of course we enjoyed America's favorite pastime:

That was us watching the Portland Beavers. In Portland, obviously. On our way up there, we came across this fine establishment: Wanker's Corner. I kid you not.

Anyway, it was super-fun to have Peter and Niru visiting, and I'm looking forward to the next time.

August the 30th means something special...the start of college football! I'm hoping to see the Ducks play Utah early in September, and I advise you all to keep up-to-date on their results this season. It's gonna be a good one, I can just feel it.

Sitting outside the Jackalope bar with Peter, we were made aware of this epic, Bowie-esque number by Midnight Juggernauts. Check it out---I like it.

Good pictures there...I wonder who took them. Anyway, I'm glad you found the Wankers Corner sign.

What did you do for your birthday?

Thanks Henry! And the same to you.

Pierre, yes, I should probably give credit to the excellent photographer. Whoever he or she is.

The birthday weekend was great. Some of it was in Portland, and then some more surprises back here in Eugene. I'll post something about it soon :)
